The man who murdered Philant Johnson, T.I.’s best friend and assistant, has been sentenced to 66 years to life in prison.

Britney Spears‘ dad Jamie Spears was awarded an additional $51,000 payout, an increase in his monthly payments since he took over his 27-year-old daughter’s affairs in February.

Busta Rhymes explains why he left Aftermath/Intercope Records to sign with Universal Motown. “Even though it was great to be with Dr. Dre, I don’t think the Interscope side of my business deal understood how to do business with Busta Rhymes. They were a great label and a great establishment, but there is a different kind of way you have to do business when you’re doing business with the Busta Rhymes business.” Busta will release his new album B.O.M.B. next year.

Warner Music Group has told YouTube to remove music videos by its artists from the site after contract negotiations broke down because Warner wanted more money for having its music on YouTube.

Michael Jackson is supposedly in need of a lung transplant because he is suffering from alpha-1 anti-trypsin deficiency, emphysema and chronic gastrointestinal bleeding, his biographer has claimed.
