Billboard.com reports rapper Nas signed a one year contract with Fila the athletic apparel company. Fila will give Nas financial support for his print and tv ad promotions as well as his upcoming tour to promote his album which is not yet titled due July 15. Nas will wear Fila products and co-create a clothing line that is inspired of fashions from the late 80's.
"My best friend Will and I loved Fila," Nas tells Billboard. "It represented prestige and everything that was cool to us. When Will passed, we buried him in a black Fila sweat suit, so doing a deal with them has a lot of significance for me."
