Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon To Renew Their Vows

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon will say “I do” for the third time. Yes, the THIRD time. The couple is planning to renew their vows on April 30, their two year wedding anniversary. This made me laugh out loud. Why would you renew your vows and you've only been married for two years. Let the married life marinate. The rate Hollywood is going many people divorce sooner than that.

Nick told UsMagazine.com, “We get married every year! That’s our thing. So it’s going to be our third wedding this year. That’s what we’ll be doing on the actual [anniversary]…We’ll do something…A party or event, just to celebrate.”

Ummm.... does anyone think this is weird? Or am I the only one?

Nick also plans to get Mariah another ring, “This is the third ring I have to buy…It’ll be something different. Something good.”

When asked by a paparazzo whether we can expect new music from her soon, the former Fugees member said, “Yeah, possibly,” but wouldn’t give a definite answer. It has been 12 years since Lauryn solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill was released.

Ready For John Mayer's Summer Tour!

I love me some John Mayer! I'm even more excited for his tour this summer. I came across this video when I stumbled upon his Tumblr account again. John finished his winter tour and will be hitting a town near you this summer.

John wrote this on his Tumblr:
"As a thank you to everyone who came out to a show on this tour, my friend 13th Witness put together a little video memoir of the times we had on the road.

I had to post this song. I heard it on the radio on Sunday when I was listening to the Rhythm Review with Felix Hernandez on NY's 98.7 Kiss FM. You have to check it out! It plays all the classics of R&B and Soul. This guy is so great he even gives you a little background information on some of the songs he plays. The song by Main Ingredient "I Dont Want To Be Lonely" reminds me so much of my grandpa I thought I'd share. A quick cool fact about this group Cuba Gooding Sr. sings in the group. Cuba is actors Cuba Gooding Jr and Omar's father.

Gaga Is Headlining Lollapalooza

It was announced earlier this week that Lady Gaga had one of the headlining slots for the Lollapalooza music festival. Gaga and her Monster Ball tour mates Semi Precious Wapons take the stage in Grant Park in downtown Chicago. For the full line-up for the Aug 6-8 festival and tickets go HERE.

In music chart news, Gaga was the first franchise to rack up more than 1 billion total online video views ("Poker Face," "Bad Romance," and "Just Dance"), according to online analytics company Visible Measures, which tallied the plays on clips that made its "100 Million Views Club" list. New iPhone App Features Orianthi

Universal Music has recently released an exciting new iPhone/iPod Touch game called Six-String where players can strum and pluck an on-screen guitar along the original masters of some of their favorite songs. It gives users a more realistic guitar-playing experience and is really fun and challenging.

One of the songs featured on the app is Orianthi’s “According To You” and she recently tried it out herself.

Remembering Marvin Gaye

Marvin Gaye's birthday was April 2nd 1939 and his death was April 1st 1984. It's so sad such a talent isn't with us. We hold onto his music for life. He is always playing in my house, almost every Sunday. I listed videos of my favorite songs by him. Enjoy!

OneRepublic are set to open for legendary rockers Bon Jovi as they christen the soon-to-be-opened New Meadowlands Stadium. OneRepublic, along with Train and Gavin DeGraw, were just announced as special guests for the series of inaugural concerts which are part of Bon Jovi's "The Circle World Tour." T.I. Talks About Prison & His New Album

T.I. sits down for his first interview since completing his prison sentence. The rapper reveals he didn't write much while in prison and how it was a learning experience. He also talks about his next album, set to be released in August 24.

“Paper Trail was a lot more about thoughts and this is more about feelings,” he explains. “This is signifcantly more aggressive. It’s going hard like classic T.I.”
