Beyoncé spoke with Power 105.1’s Ed Lover and Free this morning on “The Ed Lover Show.” Beyonce addressed rumors that the dancer in her “Single Ladies” video is a man, a possible collaboration with Britney Spears, Kanye West’s comments regarding Rihanna, Justin Timberlake’s “SNL” appearance, her sister Solange, and her thoughts on President-elect Barack Obama.
On rumors that one of the dancers in her “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)” video is a man? “That is so silly. Both of the girls are ballet dancers. Their bodies are unbelievable, just pure muscle.”
On a rumored Britney Spears collaboration? “It’s not true. It would be cool. Maybe in the future.”
On Kanye West’s comments that Rihanna pushed her into new territory? “I love Kanye. It’s all from a good place…and I love Rihanna. I think she’s fantastic and she’s done an incredible job. I love all her records.”
On Justin Timberlake’s parody of her “Single Ladies” video on “SNL”? “I still can’t believe he did that. He’s so talented and so naturally funny.”
On Solange? “She’s like my daughter to me. I would do anything for my sister.”
On President-elect Barack Obama? “He’s so smart and cool and intelligent and he just represents us so well.”
