Madonna has reportedly filed adoption papers with the Malawi welfare department and will travel to the country this weekend.
Her adoption case could possibly be heard by a court as soon as this Monday. Rumors have previously circulated that Madonna is looking to adopt a girl from Malawi after finalizing the adoption of David Banda in May of last year.
