There were rumors that Britney Spears is set to perform at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards, that is false. The pop singer will appear at the award show. Britney is in the running to collect a surfboard as well as being honored with the Ultimate Choice Award.
The "If You Seek Amy" singer is nominated for Choice Music: Single for "Circus", Choice Music: Female Artist, and Choice Music: Tour.
The TCAs will be hosted by the Jonas Trio and will air at 8PM ET/PT on Monday, August 10 on FOX.
