Twenty-five years after the original in 1985, artists from all genres of music came together for “We Are the World – 25 for Haiti.” Producer Quincy Jones and co-writer Lionel Richie assemble the late Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Celine Dion, Lil Wayne, Barbra Streisand, Usher, Mary J. Blige, Fergie, Jennifer Hudson, Kanye West, Toni Braxton, and others for a 2010 remake.
I've read a lot of comments on other sites that a lot of people don't like it because of the rappers.

I think the rappers make it more modern. It's what pop music is about this day. Rap wasn't as big 25 years ago as it is today.
