Jessica Simpson is not letting recent criticism get her down. The singer, who helped announce nominations for the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on Wednesday, says she's fine just as she is, thank you very much.
"Honestly, I am right where I'm supposed to be. I am so happy," she said on The Early Show Wednesday. "Right now I'm on tour with Rascal Flatts having a blast."
Part of having a blast includes spending time with friends – and boyfriend Tony Romo. The pair had a casual fun-filled night out over the weekend at The Great Dane Pub in Madison, Wis., where they partied after she opened for Rascal Flatts at The Kohl Center Saturday night.
