New iPhone App Features Orianthi

Universal Music has recently released an exciting new iPhone/iPod Touch game called Six-String where players can strum and pluck an on-screen guitar along the original masters of some of their favorite songs. It gives users a more realistic guitar-playing experience and is really fun and challenging.

One of the songs featured on the app is Orianthi’s “According To You” and she recently tried it out herself.

New Music: Orianthi - According To You Remix

Orianthi just released a remix of her hit debut song "According To You." The remix is by Jason Sangerman and can be downloaded on iTunes. I'm not a fan of remixes, so I'll stick with the original that already has been played out thanks to the local radio stations. Orianthi is doing her thing though, "According To You" is #20 on the Billboard Hot 10 and #5 on the Pop charts.

New Video: Orianthi - Highly Strung

Long before Orianthi had a smash single, an album burning up the charts, or a gig with the King of Pop, the then 15-year-old prodigy was opening for one of her heroes, the legendary guitarist Steve Vai, at a gig in her hometown of Adelaide, Australia. Since then the two have been close friends and collaborated on the track "Highly Strung," from Orianthi's US debut album Believe.

Behind The Scenes: Orianthi's According To You Video

Get a behind the scenes look during the making of Orianthi's music video for "According to You," the first single from her US debut Believe. The clip takes fans through the video scene-by-scene, and reveals the special technique behind the Guitar Hero-inspired segments of the video. Legendary guitarist Steve Vai was also on set to support his longtime friend and fellow shredder, and makes a cameo in the piece.

NYC: Orianthi Perform Free Concert Dec. 10

Orianthi & OneRepublic Performing Free Concert

Orianthi, Rev Theory, and OneRepublic will be performing a free concert for Walmart Soundcheck this Friday, November 20th in Las Vegas. The concert will take place at the Pearl Theater inside the Palms Casino Resort, and doors will open at 6:30 pm. Tickets for the video-taped performance can be printed from Ticketmaster.com.

Orianthi Performs Her "Beat It" Solo

Don't sleep on Orianthi the girl's got skills. She stopped by KIIS-FM studios in Los Angeles to talk about her upcoming album, Believe. Radio host JoJo convinced the Australian beauty to play the "Beat It" solo on camera - the same solo that won her the spot as lead guitarist on Michael Jackson's comeback tour. JoJo and Orianthi also demonstrated the three guitar tricks every player must know in order to shred like a pro - watch those HERE.

Orianthi began playing guitar at the age of 11, and since then has performed with an impressive roster of musicians. She was discovered by Carlos Santana and has played with legends like Steve Vai, ZZ Top, and Prince, and stole the show from Carrie Underwood at the most recent Grammys. While recording her debut album, Believe, Orianthi was chosen as the lead guitarist for Michael Jackson's comeback tour. Believe will hit stores on October 27th.

New Artist: Orianthi

You may recognize Orianthi in Michael Jackson's "This Is It" concert trailer. Orianthi has been playing guitar since the age of eleven and was discovered by legend Carlos Santana. After playing with artists like Carrie Underwood, ZZ Top, and Prince, she received a MySpace message from Michael Jackson's musical director asking her to audition for his comeback tour. Following a test run with the King of Pop himself, she was selected as his lead guitarist for his O2 arena dates in London - a crowning acheivement for the 24 year old from Adelaide, Australia.
Now Orianthi is preparing to release her solo debut album, Believe, on October 27th.

Her first single, "According to You" is a catchy tale of an ungrateful boyfriend, featuring a killer guitar solo.
