T.I. Doesn't Want To Go To Jail Yet

T.I. is scheduled to head to prison on Tuesday, but he asking for a two week delay. Yes, a two week delay. The rapper has asked to delay the date so he can be reassigned to a prison closer to Atlanta.

T.I is suppose to be heading to Arkansas on May 26. According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, T.I. has asked for a two-week delay to resolve the issue with the Bureau of Prisons.

T.I.'s lawyers said he should be allowed to serve his time in a prison camp instead of a detention facility in Arkansas. T.I. was assigned to the Forrest City prison because he had a prior offense that was designated as a serious violent felony. The prior offense “amounted to little more than a ‘scuffle’ at a mall,” the motion said.

Do you think T.I. will have his way? Or should he just except what he was given?

Jack's Mannequin Need Their Fans Help

Jack's Mannequin are doing something special for their music video "Swim."

The lyrics, music and video are about keeping hope alive and growing in the difficult times that the world is now facing. The video is designed to inspire strength, courage and perseverance in the face of all obstacles.

The band will be shooting a music video for "Swim" in June and want fans' artwork in the video. Within the context of the song, the word “Swim” is used as a metaphor for “hope, perseverance, courage, determination and strength.” Andrew McMahon and the band are asking members of the fan community to create pieces of artwork that feature the word "Swim" and illustrate, in any way chosen, the meaning behind the word. They can be represented in an abstract or representational manner - any way the artist sees fit, in any medium the artist chooses!

Head on over to JacksMannequin.com to find out all the submission details. Deadline for all artwork is May 29th.

Green Day Album Isn't Being Sold In Wal-Mart?

NEW YORK (AP) -- Green Day has the most popular CD in the country, but you won't be able to find it at your local Wal-Mart.

The band says the giant superstore chain refused to stock its latest CD, "21st Century Breakdown," because Wal-Mart wanted the album edited for language and content, and they refused.

Watch: Green Day talk about "21st Century Breakdown" in an exclusive track-by-track interview

"Wal-Mart's become the biggest retail outlet in the country, but they won't carry our record because they wanted us to censor it," frontman Billie Joe Armstrong said in a recent interview.

While Wal-Mart sells CDs from acts known for raunchy content, including Eminem's latest, they offer customers the "clean" version of those CDs, which are edited for content that may be objectionable. But in Armstrong's view, "There's nothing dirty about our record."

"They want artists to censor their records in order to be carried in there," he said. "We just said no. We've never done it before. You feel like you're in 1953 or something."

Kris Allen Is The New Idol Winner

The 2009 American Idol crown went to Kris Allen. EW got a chance for a quick chat with the winner. Kris mentions talked about why he's still surprised he's done as well as he has on the show, when he and Adam Lambert learned they would be rocking out with Queen, and which Oscar winners nearly brought him to tears.

You seemed really surprised up there when Ryan announced you won.
Always. [Smiles] I'm always surprised, man. For me, making it through each week -- everyone is so talented, and, I don't know, to make it through each week is crazy.

People kept referring to you as the dark horse. When you got to the Top 36, we'd barely seen you. Did it add any pressure, or make it easier, being the perpetual underdog?
For me, it was kinda nice. That's kinda who I am, and having the spotlight on me would've been weird. That's me. I'm that laid back guy. I stick my head behind everyone else and every once and a while peek out and say, "Hello!" [Chuckles]

So you've just won American Idol. You've obviously got tremendous musical talent. You know what kind of artist you want to be. You've got a beautiful wife. You're very good looking. You've got an amazingly supportive family.
From all I can tell, you're a really nice guy. I just gotta know, what is wrong with you?

[Laughs] Um, I am the biggest procrastinator in the world. Yeah. That, and I'm not the cleanest person in the world.
That's just terrible.
I know, right?
It's unforgivable.
Maybe there's other stuff, but I won't say anything. [Grins]

What was it like singing with Keith Urban tonight?
I got to meet him yesterday for the first time. Great, great guy. It's really nice to meet someone like that who's a huge, huge star, but really down to Earth. He just embraced me and was just like, "Let's just have fun." And that's what we did. We went out there and had fun.

And Queen?
Oh my gosh. We found out last night that we were going to be singing with Queen. Brian May walks in and my jaw just dropped. I felt like such a frickin' fan. I was just like [in a nasally voice] "Hey, Brian May, can I get your autograph?" So he was like, "Yeah, man, sure." He was such a really, really nice guy. To do that duet with Adam, it just felt like such a celebration. To do it with Queen as well? Whoa. Oh my gosh.

Your friendship with Adam has been really great to watch over the course of the season. On paper, you don't necessarily have a lot in common. How did you guys find that common ground?
For me, I feel like I relate to a lot of people. And we got to be roommates. It was just like this closeness, you know? I don't know what happened. I think we just felt each other's energy, and it was nice. It just became this really good friendship. Yeah, I adore the guy. I think he's a really great guy. I'm proud of him.

Finally, what was one of the best behind-the-scenes highlights for you during the season?
You know, the coolest thing was talking to some of the mentors, like, off camera. They would whisper in your ear nice things, like, "Dude, you're awesome, man." Hearing that stuff from, like, Smokey Robinson or Jamie Foxx or Quentin Tarantino or Randy Travis, any one of them -- it's just, like, mind-boggling, you know? I got a gift from [Once stars and songwriters] Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova after I sang "Falling Slowly" [from the film]. They were just like, "Thank you so much. You were great." Like, it almost brought me to tears. They gave me this vinyl of the [Once] album, and they signed it, and wrote this letter to me. That meant so much.

So many people are VERY upset that Kris won. I don't watch the show and can't stand it. Who did? Share your opinions on the finale performances and who you thought should have won.

Lil Wayne's Rock Album Gets Pushed Back..AGAIN

Lil Wayne's rock album, Rebirth, has been pushed back from its original released date FIVE times now. I think the label is not interested in it. The album is being pushed back one more month from June 23rd to July 21st. It's original release date was April 7.

If the album is released, look for collaborations with Fall Out Boy, Kevin Rudolf, and Avril Lavigne.

D. Woods On Diddy "I just feel like he's a business man and that's it"

D. Woods from damaged Danity Kane spoke with Bossip about her feelings toward Dawn, her solo album, and DIDDY.
Bossip: We spoke with Dawn a few weeks ago and discussed the whole MTB finale being a Dawn “hatefest.” Was it a hatefest?
D. Woods: I think that the finale was nothing like that. I do fell like if they feel like people or the different girls in the group were hating on her, then they were very misinformed because they don’t know the situation. They don’t really know her hand in the demise of the group and her involvement in it. Definitely some of the actions and they things that she said led up to the animosity. I really don’t hold on to any of that. But, it was very much of a betrayal. I would definitely say that if two people, three people, and then four people all have a certain feeling towards one person, then maybe that one person did do something and does deserve the things that are happening to them. The public is not stupid. They can see stuff like that. I don’t have to tell you everything that happened and everything that she did, because people can see. Real recognizes real. I definitely feel like me having to come back to the finale and have to sit there while they further fabricate the cause of how the group got to where it is now…I mean if were gonna talk about it let’s talk about it. But if you don’t want to hear the truth, then don’t ask me, and don’t ask me to come back and sit here while you continue to lie about me like you lied about me for an entire season and tried to depict me in a certain way. Like, we’re supposed to act like it’s all good and it’s true. Those are my feelings of the finale. I only had to show up because it was the last obligation of my contract.

Bossip: What made you try out in the first place?
D.Woods: I tried out for MTB because one of the producers that I was working with kind of convinced me to go do it. He was like what’s the worst that could happen. If they don’t pick you, in which they probably will pick you, then they’ll just remember you when were ready to shop your project. That was the whole point of my going in the first place.

Bossip: What’s the sound of your solo project?
D. Woods: I’m moving on with my sound. I don’t put myself in a box or label myself one thing. I’m a mixture of the things that I’ve been exposed to. It’s high energy, I guess you could consider it pop, because it’s not just urban. It’s not just any one thing.

Bossip: When are you releasing it?
D. Woods: I’m in the process right now of developing a whole rollout for my project. We’ll be releasing a single this summer. It will probably be the fourth quarter for the entire album.

Bossip: Who are you working with?
D. Woods: One of the main producers of the project, his name is Sound, and he’s out of Atlanta. We have a good chemistry and we’ve been working together for about two years now.

Bossip: On the earlier episodes of MTB, they tried to make you out to be the fat chick, when in reality you’re not at all. Do you still feel pressure in the industry to be a waif?
D. Woods: No, not at all. Especially because when that happened, that was the second season. The first season that I was there, we were in Miami and we were on the beach. I was running around in a bikini the entire time! I was never questioned. In fact, I was working the other girls out. I was pushing Aundrea along because she could go anymore. So, because I didn’t have a sob story, which they try to give you on the show, they had to find something where they thought that I would be vulnerable or feel insecure about.

Bossip: They basically conjured up a story to make you feel bad to get better ratings?
D. Woods: Yep. Because I didn’t feel bad at all. Like, the scene where I was standing there, and tears were coming out of my eyes, it was really moreso disappointment and feeling totally disrespected by the things that Puff was saying to me. The things that he said to me were very disrespectful and they didn’t even show all of it on TV. I was just like,’ I can’t believe this man is talking to me like this.’ I was trying to be respectful because I really didn’t know him. It was like the first week that we start working. I’m the tallest and my frame is different. I’m built more muscular. Out of everything that Puff could say about his new group, he chose to go negative. He had an opportunity to show how five different women could be beautiful in their own way. It was hurtful, especially to a Black woman coming from a Black man. It let me know the true type of person that I was working with.

Bossip: What’s your perception of Puff now?
D. Woods: I just feel like he’s a business man and that’s it. He’s in the business of television and he’s doing what he needs to do to make good television.

Bossip: What’s going on with the Girls Club?
D. Woods: We’re inducting new members all the time. It’s networking, it’s kind of like a sorority type of thing for the industry. It’s all about supporting your sisters and finding new opportunities… new ways to do things. Like a girl power type of thing. We have gatherings and meetings.

Bossip: What’s the process of getting in?
D. Woods: We feel people out. We bring you around the others. The founding members are myself, Mika Means & Chanel.
