Quick Updates: Diddy & Game's Albums Pushed Back

Game’s R.E.D. album has been pushed back from its original date of June 15. Game's new single featuring Justin Timberlake "Ain't No Doubt About It" will be released June 29. The Game's album will be released in competition with Drake's Thank Me Later.

Diddy-Dirty Money’s Last Train to Paris will be released the same day as Game's. Eminem's album Recovery will be released June 22.

The most popular song of the decade was Mariah Carey’s ballad “We Belong Together.”

Eminem was named the top artist of the decade

Nickelback was named top group.

More Exciting News About The 2009 VMAs

I don't know about you but I'm excited to see Janet perform a tribute to her late brother, Michael Jackson! More news is pouring in each day of new celebs added to the line up of performances. Now Alicia Keys is added to the line-up! Here are two snippets from the press release I received today about Michael Jackson's This Is It trailer and the presenters.

New York, NY (September 10, 2009) –– MTV has announced that Alicia Keys will join JAY-Z onstage to perform “Empire State of Mind” from his latest album The Blueprint 3. Eminem will also be making a special appearance during the “2009 MTV Video Music Awards” on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 9PM (Live ET/Tape delayed PT). In addition the biggest names in music, TV and movies are confirmed to present including Megan Fox, Jimmy Fallon, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, 50 Cent, Jack Black, Andy Samberg, Kristin Cavallari, Pete Wentz, Gerard Butler, Tracy Morgan, Adam Brody, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Alexa Chung, Gabe Saporta of Cobra Starship and Justin Bieber who have joined Ne-Yo, Nelly Furtado, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester and Miranda Cosgrove.

Eminem To Hit The Big Screen Again

Eminem hasn't been on the big screen since 2002 in "8 Mile". The Detroit rapper will appear in the comedy "Funny People". The movie features Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Sarah Silverman and more.

Mariah Fires Back At Eminem In New Song

Eminem made comments about Mariah so long ago. Mariah finally has something to say. Mariah's new single, "Obsessed" takes a shot at Eminem.

The-Dream who co-wrote the song said,“I don’t think anybody is going to expect her to come out punching like she is going to come out,” he said. “It’s going to light the blogs up too because you don’t know who she talking about, what she talking about, but she talking about something. Mariah Carey has a record, and somebody’s going to be very upset.”

Well who else would it be, The-Dream? The only person who picked first was Eminem.

The Detriot rapper has made comments in his songs about their alleged affair. In which Mariah has also said soemthing back in 2002 with a song called, "Clown" off Charmbracelet.

“You should have never intimated we were lovers/ When you know very well we never even touched each other,” she sang.

We just have to wait to hear what Mariah says on "Obsessed" (which is off her album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel) when it hits radio on Tuesday, June 16.

Eminem & Bruno Incident Was Staged

The Eminem/Bruno stunt at Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards was completely staged and rehearsed.

“Yes, the Bruno/Eminem incident was staged,” said Scott Aukerman, Andy Samberg’s head writer on the award show. “That’s all anyone wants to talk about, so let’s get it out of the way.”

Eminem did know Sacha Baron Cohen's booty was going to be all up in his face. “They rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show then.”

I wouldn't want anyones booty in my face! Didn't Em have a lyric "my bum is on your lips" on one of his early songs? I'm pretty sure it was "The Real Slim Shady."

Thanks to that not so little stunt MTV had so awesome ratings. Thats all that matters right?

If any saw tonight's Movie Awards you'r probably wondering was Bruno's (Sasha Baron Cohen) stunt featuring Eminem fake or real. I for one think it was a skit but the audience didnt know. Eminem DID NOT think it was funny. I didn't think it was funny either, I'm all about personal space and that just wasn't right. Who knows with MTV. If you missed it, check out the vid below.

Eminem, Beyonce, & More To Perform At 2009 BET Awards

Eminem is set to perform at the 9th Annual BET Awards. Don't forget to catch Em on BET's "106 & Park" TODAY. The rapper will perform live at the MTV Move Awards in Universal City, Calif., on May 31.

Kanye West, Beyoncé, Soulja Boy, Ne-Yo, and Maxwell have been announced as performers for the BET Awards also. Jamie Foxx will be the host, which airs live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 28, at 8 p.m.

Entertainment Weekly: Though a smattering of other celebrity goofs (Kim Kardashian, Sarah Palin) feel both dated and beneath him, Relapse’s real resonance comes from the fragile, harrowing genius that lies behind that painted-on grin. A-

Rolling Stone: By letting Dr. Dre take over the low-end-funk production, and rhyming about things he actually cares about, he comes up with a more painful, honest, and vital record than anyone could have expected at this late date, up there with The Eminem Show or maybe even better. 4 out of 5

Chicago Tribune: Has the pathological smart-aleck finally become a self-parody? He admits as much in “Same Song and Dance.” But the funniest and most honest moment arrives just as the album fades. Eminem Covers XXL Magazine, Twice

A special collector’s edition, the issue showcases Eminem posing as Marvel Comics’ notorious vigilante The Punisher. The June issue’s entire feature well is dedicated to Marshall Mathers and documents his illustrious career. The magazine also includes an exclusive collaboration between XXL, Shady and Marvel Comics: a special edition Punisher comic book entitled Eminem/Punisher: Kill You starring Eminem and created by Marvel Comics. In the interview by XXL, Eminem talks drugs, Proof's death, and T.I. and Lil Wayne:


On His Drug Addiction
“I wasn’t really mentally. I wasn’t ready to give up drugs. I didn’t really think I had a problem. Basically, I went in, and I came out. I relapsed, and I spent the next three years struggling with it. Also, at that time, I felt like I wanted to pull back, because my drug problem had got so bad. I felt like, Maybe if I take a break, maybe this will help. I started to get into the producer role more…I can still be out there with my music, like with the Re-Up album, but I don’t have to be in the spotlight the whole time.”

On Proof’s Death
“Everyone felt his loss, from his kids, to his wife, to everyone. But, for some reason, in hindsight, the way I felt was almost like it happened to just me…Maybe at the time I was a little bit selfish with it. I think it kind of hit me so hard. It just blindsided me. I just went into such a dark place that, with everything, the drugs, my thoughts, everything. And the more drugs I consumed, and it was all depressants I was taking, the more depressed I became, the more self-loathing I became…By the way, I’m just now at the point where I’m better talking about it. It took me so long to get out of that place where I couldn’t even speak about it without crying or wanting to cry…Proof was the anchor. He was everything to D12. And not just the group-for me, personally, he was everything.”

On T.I., Lil Wayne & Hip-Hop
“I stayed up on the music, and obviously I watch TV and saw what was going on. And without naming any name, it just felt like hip-hop was going downhill. And it seemed like kinda fast. You know, in them three years, it was like everybody just cares about the hook and the beat; nobody really cares about substance. But with this new T.I. album, with this new Lil Wayne album of recent, it seems like things are looking a lot better now. You can appreciate Lil Wayne using different words to rhyme and actually rhyming words that you know. Or T.I., where you hear shit and you’re like Whoa, ah, I wish I would have thought of that! You know what I mean? Or you hear all the compound-syllable rhyming and all that. It just seems like now the craft is getting cared about more.”

Eminem To Perform at 2009 MTV Movie Awards

Eminem is set to perform at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards. The award show will be held at the Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City, California, on Sunday, May 31st. Eminem is to perform his new single, "We Made You". 

"Relapse" will hit stores and be available online May 19th.

Andy Samberg from "Saturday Night Live" will host the event.
