Travis McCoy from Gym Class Heroes was arrested Tuesday night in St. Louis on one charge of third degree assault. The group just finished their first song during a set on the Warped Tour when a black concert goer called the lead singer a "f---ing ignorant n----er." Security went to remove the person from the audience when Travis his him on the head with his microphone repeatedly. Travis then apologized for his violent behavior, "I'm sorry. But when someone calls you something that ignorant and that offensive, you have to bash their head in with a microphone"Travis was released early Wednesday morning on $500 bond.
