On her hit song “I Kissed A Girl”: “I have a soft spot for women—I’m not afraid of it. Some women walk into the room, and they’re so beautiful and you’re like, ‘I wanna smell you,’ you know? I have certain girlfriends who I just think are the most angelic, beautiful creatures. And if any of my boyfriends ever fail me, I’ll turn to them!”

On her boo, British comedian Russell Brand: “When he was filming Get Him to the Greek, I did a cameo with him. My scene called for me to make out with him. And on the way down the stairs after the scene, I was hopping like a bunny. I hope like a bunny when I’m happy—I get a bit childlike.”

On feeling vulnerable: “I have always been this character, but I kind of cartoon-ized myself a little bit [in my stage persona]. So when someone really likes me, it’s like here comes a person! I wonder if you can handle this.”

Taylor Swift Covers Glamour Magazine

Taylor Swift covers the 2009 July issue of Glamour. Here is a snippit from the interview:

Glamour: OK, you were the top-selling artist last year. That’s incredible! Do you have any idea of what a huge accomplishment that is?

Taylor Swift: When I get news like that, it just blows my mind, because I’ve been trying to do this all my life. I remember the girls who would come to talent shows and say to anyone they met, “I’m so-and-so—I’m going to be famous someday.” I was never that girl. I would show up with my guitar and say, “This is a song I wrote about a boy in my class.” And that’s what I still do today.

Glamour: A lot of people who reach a level of fame similar to yours become guarded.

TS: I get some paparazzi, but not enough to make me ever not appreciate what I have. It’s like, I wanted one thing [my] whole life…. I’m not going to get it and then complain about it.

Miley Talks Justin Gaston & Temptations of Hollywood

In the latest issue of Glamour magazine, the teen queen, Miley Cyrus, talks about dating an older guy, her body, and the temptations of Hollywood. Here's what she told Glamour's Laurie Sandell:

On the four-year age difference between her and boyfriend Justin Gaston:

"I don't feel like I'm doing anything wrong, and I'm ready for people to accept it. My fans already accept it -- they just want me to be happy. And I haven't been that happy in a few years ... working so hard, moving to L.A. from Nashville, going through a bad breakup [with Nick Jonas]. I'm finally happy again, and I think that is reflected in my music and my work. So honestly, I don't feel like there's anything to hide. And I love him so much I don't really care."

On how they met:

My dad introduced us on the "Hannah Montana" set. I looked so bad that day. I was wearing sweats and glasses and we talked. Then he showed up the next day and said, "I can't stop thinking about you. Can I take you to a movie?" When he took me home, I said, "I don't want to get close to you, because I don't know where this is going to go." And he said, "Well, you can't live like that." So we took a three-mile walk, and talked and talked ... Now he's my best friend."

On the pin-thin-body trend in young Hollywood:

"I think it's lame, because it will eat at you forever. I've been at photo shoots where I've tried something on and said, "Oh my gosh, why don't these fit?" But I'll never be a six-foot-tall, 95-pound model; I'm meant to have a little more meat on my bones."

On the temptations of Hollywood:

"In this industry there are so many things that can take over your life: money, alcohol, drugs -- even fashion. People hand you things, and you start to believe life is easy. And it's not like that -- you're not supposed to be the person you play in the movies ... I like keeping my mind as far away from money and the material aspects of my job as possible.

On ending up like Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan (who also started out as squeaky-clean Disney Stars:

"The last thing I ever want to do is disappoint my parents. My mom's dad died
when she was 18, and if something ever happened to one of my parents, I'd want
them to go knowing I made them proud. I think it's selfish to go out partying all the
time."

Christina's So Glamorous

Christina Aguilera is featured in Glamour Magazine's August issue heres a a piece of her interview:

GLAMOUR: You're obviously back into fighting shape, so let's discuss this workout of yours: boxing, running backward on a treadmill while going uphill, crunches, weights, pull-ups--it sounds brutal.
CHRISTINA AGUILERA: [Laughs.] I hate working out--I have to mentally push myself through it. I can get very whiny, saying things like, "I can't do it!"

GLAMOUR: Let's talk about your new album: Can we expect to see you reinvent yourself as you did for Back to Basics?
CA: I just started recording it, but I can tell you that this record is all about fun. I'll be referencing Pop Art, Andy Warhol's art. So it will [sound] fun and fast-paced, and visually, it will be full of color, which is how it's going to tie in with my new fragrance, Inspire [in stores next month].
