The proceeds go to the City of Hope for cancer research, treatment and educational programs. Ticketmaster is offering 2-for-1 tickets on their site. When you open the ticketmaster link, click on “find tickets”.

Jesse McCartney made a fool out of himself by forgetting the words to the National Anthem. Jesse tweeted after the incident saying:

Here At the Nascar race! So much fun! Can't believe I forgot the words to the Anthem! I've performed it 100 times. Bad Nerves today I guess.

Jesse McCartney Has An Encounter With Lightening

Jesse McCartney was traveling on his tour bus through Dallas with his band when the bus was strucked by lightening. Talk about a scary moment. The singer tweeted about the incident, “Okay. You ready? I got struck by Lightning tonight! Driving thru a huge storm in Dallas my Bus was hit knocking us to the side of the road!”

No worries Jesse fans, he is alright. The "How Do You Sleep" singer continued, “It fried the transmission and computers! I sat up front so I actually saw the flash and then the piercing BANG! Gotta fly to the next city!”

Jesse McCartney Plays A Little Football

Jesse McCartney participated in the Madden NFL 10 Pigskiin Pro-Am on Xbox 360 Football event on Friday in Malibu, CA. The 22 year old "How Do You Sleep" singer played on the red team with other celebrities.

The event featured current and former NFL players. The athletes and celebs faced off in a flag football game. The game will be broadcast on NFL Netowrk, VH1, ESPN2, leading up to August 14th release of Madden NFL 10.

Z100's Zootopia Takes Over Izod Center

Z100's 2009 Zootopia concert took over the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ on Saturday. Ciara, Black Eyed Peas, Kelly Clarkson Flo Rida, Soulja Boy, The All American Rejects and Jessie McCartney took the stage. Flo Rida & Soulja Boy offered to show some skin during their performances. NY's Number 1 Hit music station, Z100, is hosting their Zootopia concert again.  Black Eyed Peas, Kelly Clarkson, Jesse McCartney, Soulja Boi, Flo Rida, Ciara and The All American Rejects will hit the stage May 16.

The concert will take place at NJ's Izod Center at 7:30pm.

“I did a record for Toni Braxton called ‘My Ring’s Too Heavy,’” says the pop star, whose album Departure: Recharged hits stores TODAY you can also get it on iTunes. “Three weeks later, Beyoncé came out with a record called ‘Single Ladies’ and it sort of has a hand and a ring theme behind it.”

The song was recorded for Toni's sixth studio album, due out on Atlantic Records. “No offense to Beyoncé, I think Toni’s is a little bit better in my opinion, but we’ll have to see what the charts do.”

N.E.R.D., Jesse McCartney & Others To Perform During Final Four Weekend

N.E.R.D. and Jesse McCartney will perform at one of the free concerts during Final Four weekend in Detroit.

The NCAA and the local organizing committee announced Tuesday the final musical headliners for the event, which will take place Friday-Sunday, April 3-5, on the city's riverfront.

N.E.R.D. will headline Friday's concert, which will feature Jesse. Saturday's lineup features the Pussycat Dolls and Gavin DeGraw. On Sunday, "American Idol" star Ryan Seacrest will host the day's activities, including performances from Fergie, Staind and Gym Class Heroes

Jesse McCartney To Re-Release 'Departure' Album

Jesse McCartney is working on spicing up and re-releasing his third album, Departure, on April 7th.

The 21-year-old musician took the time out to talk to Billboard.com on his new sound (including five new songs for the album), his tour and his film career.

On his re-release of Departure: “I kind of want to rejuvenate the album a little bit and make it fresh again for everyone and make sure if they haven’t checked it out yet that they will this time.”

On his next album: “I wanted something that was a step towards the next album but not too far from ‘Departure,’ some sort of middle ground. There’s definitely more R&B coming out of me, I feel, in the last couple months. I’m really thinking the next album will be swinging even further in that direction.”

On passing on The Last Airbender: “Unfortunately we just couldn’t do it. It was really biting into this tour we had planned for months. I’ve had so much momentum, I just didn’t want to stop it in its tracks. We really tried to make it work with Night [M. Night Shyamalan] and with everyone over at Paramount; they’ve been amazing throughout the whole thing.”
