According to Billboard this is the most popular song, top group, top artist, and top selling album of 2009.
The most popular song of the decade was Mariah Carey’s ballad “We Belong Together.”
Eminem was named the top artist of the decade
Nickelback was named top group.
Taylor Swift had the best-selling album with Fearless.
Black Eyed Peas’ “Boom Boom Pow” was top song.

Britney Spears Tops Concert Tour List

The Canadian Press ranks the Top 20 Concert Tours. Britney Spears tops the list with her Circus tour. The Artists are ranked by the average box office gross per city and includes the average ticket price for shows in North America in U.S. dollars.

The previous week's ranking is in parentheses. The list is based on data provided to the trade publication Pollstar by concert promoters and venue managers.

Rock Stars Autograph Guitar To Benefit Leukemia Research

Ebay and The T.J. Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS Research teamed up to auction off signed memorabilia.

3 Doors Down, Bon Jovi, Maroon 5 and Nickelback all signed Fender Stratocaster guitars that will be auctioned off. The proceeds go to the T.J. Martell Foundation.

Autographed Fender Stratocaster guitars from Universal Music Group artists 3 Doors Down, Bon Jovi, Maroon 5 and Nickelback are up for auction on eBay.com to benefit the T.J. Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS Research.

Bidding is open until March 2nd, 2009 at 5:00pm PST.

Anti-Valentines Day Album

Nickelback, Slipknot and Paramore are just some of the bands to be included on a new anti-Valentines Day compilation, released by Rhino UK.

19 tracks feature on the 'It's A Misery Business' collection, which ranges from "loud and noisy rock, emo, punk and metal" that is "guaranteed to turn even the warmest of hearts black!".

Others included on the album are Panic At The Disco, Biffy Clyro, Gallows and Simple Plan. The full 'It's A Misery Business' tracklisting is as follows:

Live Nation Strikes Again!

Live Nation signed Nickleback in a multimillion dollar deal with the concert promoting corp. The band has a three album agreement which is reported worth 50-70 million dollars. The guys also have to record two more albums for Roadrunner Records. Nickleback are added to the list with Jay-Z and Madonna.
