Mommy Jonas Talks About Her Boys & Abstinence
Jonas Trio's mom, Denise Jonas, talks about her boys remaining abstinent. Mommy Jonas said this about her boys, "They don't want to go out there giving everyone an STD? What's so terrible about that?"

Katy Perry covers the 2009 July issue of Seventeen magazine. Here are some excerpts from the article.
On her worst job she ever had: “I worked at this place called Taxi, Taxi Music, where I would sit with headphones and a computer, and I would listen to music that people would send in from all around the country so they could get a critique on it and how to make it in the music industry. So you have to imagine how depressed I was after not making it in LA after five years, knowing everyone in the music industry couldn’t get a break, and sitting in this cubicle, listening to the worst music I’ve ever heard. I would tell these people ‘Well you have to change these chords’ or ‘This is how you contact a record label.’ And I was just like, I cannot give these people hope. I had no hope [myself.]”
On what her life was like before she made it big: “It was five years of living in L.A. with no money, writing bad checks, selling my clothes to make rent, borrowing money. Just trying to keep up with the Joneses. It was super-draining, but I knew inside it was going to happen. I was at least going to get my chance. I always say, ‘Step up to the plate and swing.’ It was up to me If I was going to hit that ball and run.”
On being a role model: “I think that [Miley (Cyrus) and the Jonas Brothers] set out to be role models, and I think, I at least hope they know what they’re doing. Because once you say you’re a role model, you’re under a microscope and everyone is waiting and watching for you to do something, you know? And then there’s this big pointing-of-the-finger thing. I mean, they have purpose being role models and having the promise ring thing. But it’s not for everyone.”

Amerie's Def Jam Debut This Summer!
Amerie was signed to Def Jam records and is ready to dominate the charts this summer. The R&B singer will release In Love & War this August. Her first single off the forthcoming album, "Why R U" is set to hit the radio June 15. Her video for the single will premiere on June 8 on BET.
In Love & War was produced by Teddy Riley, Sean Garrett, Brian Cox, and The Buchanans, just to name a few.

Brandy To Pay In Wrongful Death Lawsuit
Back in 2006, Brandy was involved in a multi-car accident when her Land Rover struck the Mohamed family's Toyota Corolla.
A wrongful-death lawsuit was brought on behalf of the victim's kids. According to TMZ, Brandy will pay $300,000 each for Mrwan and Kareem Mohamed.
In February, the singer offered $1.2 million settlement but was rejected by the victim's husband.
A settlement has yet to be reached with the husband.

Lil Wayne's rock album, Rebirth, has been pushed back AGAIN! The date has been set for August 18.

Eminem & Bruno Incident Was Staged
The Eminem/Bruno stunt at Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards was completely staged and rehearsed.
“Yes, the Bruno/Eminem incident was staged,” said Scott Aukerman, Andy Samberg’s head writer on the award show. “That’s all anyone wants to talk about, so let’s get it out of the way.”
Eminem did know Sacha Baron Cohen's booty was going to be all up in his face. “They rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show then.”
I wouldn't want anyones booty in my face! Didn't Em have a lyric "my bum is on your lips" on one of his early songs? I'm pretty sure it was "The Real Slim Shady."
Thanks to that not so little stunt MTV had so awesome ratings. Thats all that matters right?

T-Pain Tweets About His Fallen Friend
T-Pain honors his best friend Dolla by painting his image on his 1972 Chevy Chevelle. The two rappers were label mates on Jive Records. T-Pain tweeted, “Showin my respects for my dog r.i.p. On the 72 chevy chevelle.”
The late 21-year-old rapper, who T-Pain called one of his best friends, was gunned down at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles last month.
