Nirvana 1992 Concert To Release November 3

On November 3rd fans of Nirvana will have the chance to relive 1992 with the release of Nirvana Live At Reading. The package, which will be released in multiple formats, will include over 90 minutes of previously unreleased performance footage including classics "Smells Like Teen Spirit," "All Apologies," "Lithium," "Negative Creep", "Dumb" and more all mixed from the original multitrack master tapes in 5.1 surround.

New Video: Ne-Yo - Never Knew I Needed

Myspace Music is hosting the official online premiere of the video for Ne-Yo's "Never Knew I Needed", the pop theme song from Disney's upcoming animated feature, 'The Princess and the Frog'.


"Never Knew I Needed" will be featured during the film's ending credits and will be available for digital download through the iTunes Store on November 3rd. The soundtrack will be available November 23rd, and the movie, whose action takes place in New Orleans and the Louisiana bayou, will open in theatres on December 11th.

What did the couple eat for such a large bill? The couple ate with an older couple and ordered white truffles, lobster salad and a bottle of Dom Perignion champagne.

Jennifer Lopez Involved In Legal Battle With Ex-Husband

Jennifer Lopez was dressed in all black as she walked the red carpet for Michael Jackson's This Is It premiere on Tuesday. The premiere was held in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theatre.

The singer was all smiled yesterday, but is in a legal battle with ex-husband Ojani Noa. The two were married in 1997 and lasted almost a year. Noa is looking to release a film entitled, How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The JLo and Ojani Noa Story, which would include details of alleged infidelities of Jennifer while the pair was married.

Shakira Covers Rolling Stone Magazine

Shakira is on the latest cover of Rolling Stone magazine. The 32 year old singer spoke about motherhood and pressure of being a woman.

“You know, women have to make enormous efforts through life, much larger than men,” Shakira said. “We deal with so many pressures: the pressure of aesthetics, and how society wants us to deliver our performances as mothers, daughters and wives.”

Shakira isn't a mother yet, but is ready to focus on starting her family: “My body feels like it is asking to reproduce, to have a huge belly and carry babies.” It's been kept so hush hush many people may be surprised to know the "She Wolf" singer has been in a relationship with investment banker Antonio de la Rua for the past nine years.

Andrew McMahon Stands Up To Cancer!

Andrew McMahon, frontman for Sire Records' pop/rock recording artist Jack's Mannequin, will become a partner of Stand Up To Cancer by participating in its programming beginning in December 2009. The Stand Up To Cancer initiative aims to raise awareness and bring about an understanding that everyone is connected by cancer. The group has raised more than $100 million for cancer research through television events, private and corporate donors, Major League Baseball stadiums, and public donations.

In addition, Sire Records will release Dear Jack on November 3rd, a DVD documentary shot by McMahon himself which chronicles his own personal fight against leukemia.

A special Limited Edition Dear Jack pre-order from the website sold out in only one week. The 3,000 lucky fans who reserved their copy of the DVD also received an exclusive, newly recorded and previously unreleased track, "Swim (Music Box)" as an instant audio bonus, along with an autographed poster from McMahon. The Standard Edition Dear Jack DVD only is however still available for pre-order at jacksmannequin.com.

Also on November 3rd, The Dear Jack EP will be made available exclusively through iTunes. The EP features four previously unreleased tracks: "Dear Jack," "Diane, the Skyscraper," "There, There Katie," and "Swim (Music Box)."

Finally, a limited-edition "Swim" art book, which includes artwork created by friends and fans of Jack's Mannequin that became a prominent part of the "Swim" music video will be released on November 3rd. Justin Timberlake's Shriners Hospital For Children Open finished its week long festivities on Saturday (Oct 17) with a concert. The Justin & Friends concert featured Timbaland, Snoop Dogg, Taylor Swift, Jay Sean, T-Boz and Chili of TLC, Ciara and Alicia Keys.
I only have a few pictures now but there is more to come. Justin and Timbaland premiered their single "Carry Out" off Tim's upcoming release Shock Value 2.

Justin was all over the place last night showing off his skills. JT rapped with Snoop, beatboxed with Timbaland, played Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and mashed up King’s of Leon “Use Somebody” with "Cry me a river" as well as Coldplay’s Viva La Vida & Lovestoned.

Cartel recently premiered their video for "Let's Go," the first single from their new album, Cycles. Nearly 200 fans showed up to be extras at the shoot, and 80 of them were given hand-held cameras to record their view of the band's performance in an abandoned warehouse. The fan-footage was then edited together along with the official footage to create the video. The guys list the "Let's Go" video as one of their favorites that they've made so far, so check out the fun HERE.

The 16 professional dancers in the competition will perform special choreographed numbers in tribute to the music, dancing, and life of MJ. The piece is being described as a "fusion of classic ballroom and Latin styles", all performed to classic MJ tunes.

Justin Timberlake's New Movie Role

I mentioned earlier in the week that Justin Timberlake was growing his hair out possibly for a new movie role. It has been confirmed that JT will be in the movie called "The Social Network". The singer turned actor will begin working on the film this fall and winter in Boston and Los Angeles. He will take on the role of Sean Parker, co-founder of Napster and Founding President of Facebook.

Justin says movie is a “behind the scenes” look at the founding of the popular website. How has Justin been prepping for the role? “I’ve been doing research about the film. I’m starting to creep on a little bit more see what it’s all about,” he explains.

"The Social Network" also stars “Zombieland’s” Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg, who founded Facebook while attending Harvard. He is currently CEO and President of the company.

Taylor Swift To Host & Perform On SNL

Taylor Swift will host SNL on November 7! "I've been thinking about skit ideas for a long time," Swift told the Associated Press. "There are definitely some hilarious things that have happened to me over the past couple of months that I think will be pretty substantial skits."

Not only will Taylor host but she will perform as well. "Of course I've been such a fan for a long time, but I've gone back and re-watched everything over the past couple of months and digital shorts would be so much fun to do, because they've been done so well," she said. "Andy Samberg is hilarious."

You'll have to wait a few weeks to see Taylor on Saturday Night Live, but she will be performing on Dancing with the Stars on October 27.

Timbaland's new single will premiere Friday! The producer's single "Morning After Dark" will feature his female artist SoShy. What can we expect? Timb said previously it has a vampire theme reminiscent of Twilight. It will be available to purchase as a digital download on October 27. Shock Value features Drake, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Brandy, Justin Timberlake, and more. The follow-up to 2007's Shock Value will be available on Monday, November 23.

Nirvana Concert From 1992 To Be Released On DVD

Amazing footage of Nirvana performing "School" at the 1992 Reading Festival was recently made available for fans. The video comes from the CD+DVD Nirvana Live At Reading which hits stores November 17th, with the CD only version arriving on November 3rd. Often heralded as one of the greatest Nirvana performances of all time, the gig featured front man Kurt Cobain rocking out in a hospital gown.
