Russell Brand will be hosting the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards in Hollywood. You may recognize Russel from the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall. He played the rehabbed rocker Aldous Snow. MTV signed Brand for the VMAs after producers saw his standup act at L.A.'s famed Roxy Theatre.
"I'm planning to have lesbian kisses with Britney and Madonna individually," Brand said. "It's not going to be easy what with my genitals, but God, I will try." He also said,"I thought I might trust my luck and improvise," Brand said. "I'll have a couple of glasses of gin and just stagger out there and bellow with the Jonas Brothers."
